Lord Brocket

Charlie was educated at Eton, served five years in 14th/20th Kings Hussars serving in Northern Ireland, Middle East, Far East and Germany.

He inherited the family seat, Brocket Hall, in 1971 in a semi derelict state and turned it into the premier conference/golf venue in Europe.

His passion for Ferraris led to financial problems that ended in a tour of seven of Her Majesty’s prisons.

The subsequent autobiography, written with his Irish sense of humour, became a best seller and his spell in the jungle on “I’m a Celebrity, get me out of here” led to his current TV career with programmes such as ‘Bad Lad’s Army’.

He has three previous children from his first marriage and a two year old daughter from his marriage to Harriet, a travel photographer.
